Tarmac sign new three-year sponsorship deal to support Panshanger Park’s Festival of Wildlife

March 13, 2018

This year, the Festival of Wildlife in partnership with Tarmac, will take place over the weekend of 28th & 29th July at Panshanger Park.

Last year more than 3,000 people visited to celebrate the rich diversity of wildlife in Hertfordshire and Middlesex.

Following the success of the event delivered by Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust in partnership with The Hertfordshire Natural History Society and Tarmac, Tarmac have agreed to be the lead sponsor up to and including 2020.

This means this summer’s event is planned to be even bigger with organisers aiming to have at least 4,000 people come along to the family-friendly event.

Josh Kubale from Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust told us: “We’re delighted Tarmac have agreed to support the flagship event at Panshanger Park for the next three years. We have already had so many organisations contact us to get involved that the programme of events is going to be packed.”

“We are proud of our stewardship of Panshanger”, Mike Pendock, Tarmac’s Estates Manager told us. “Our flagship event attracts so many new visitors to the park each year and engages them in the rich flora and fauna that thrive here. We want to ensure the future of the Festival so have agreed to be lead sponsor for the next three years.”

The free festival will once again include walks, talks, conservation demonstrations, arts and crafts, kids’ activities, tractor rides and self-guided activities.
