On Sunday 4th of June, Panshanger Park is hosting free walks, sports and lots more fun to encourage all the family to get active and celebrate MOVE Week 2017.
MOVE Week is an annual Europe-wide campaign promoting sport, physical activity and the positive impact on society they bring. MOVE Week 2017 in East Herts is driven by Active East Herts, Tarmac and Herts & Middlesex Wildlife Trust at Panshanger Park and is supported by other organisations including East Herts District Council, Network Homes and Herts Sports Partnership.
This year’s event will offer plenty of activities for everyone including walking, various sport games and an obstacle race. There is no need to book, just turn up anytime between 1pm-4pm on the 4th of June. Parking will be available in the centre of the park by Riverside Cottage, enter via Thieves Lane car park and follow signage to the parking area.
Jennifer Gilbert, Panshanger Park People & Wildlife Officer, said: ”We are excited to host MOVE Week 2017 at Panshanger Park and hope that everyone who comes along to take part enjoys the beautiful scenery whilst having fun and getting fit.”
