Panshanger Park launches ‘Nature Explorers’ group for young adventurers

February 11, 2025

Panshanger Park has launched its new adventure group, Nature Explorers, designed to inspire and educate young people about the natural world and the environment.

Aimed at children aged 8-12 years, the group will meet once a month on a Sunday morning from 10am-12pm, offering engaging activities, games, and hands-on exploration, all led by trained volunteers. Each session will focus on developing outdoor skills while building a love for nature and the environment.

Michael Charlton, Estates Manager at Panshanger Park, said: “We’re excited to be launching ‘Nature Explorers’ and provide a fantastic opportunity for young people to connect with the incredible wildlife and landscapes here at Panshanger Park. These sessions will encourage curiosity, learning, and practical outdoor skills, all while having fun outdoors.”

Places for each session are limited to 15 children and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Bookings for the first three months are now open, with details of meeting points and session themes provided upon booking.
