Panshanger Park is once again participating in this year’s Heritage Open Days.

This summer, we’re inviting visitors to join us in celebrating one of the UK’s rarest and most beautiful natural features: the chalk river that flows through Panshanger Park.

Panshanger Park once again played host to the popular Welwyn 10k, now in its third successful year at the scenic Hertfordshire location.

Tarmac’s Panshanger Park will once again sponsor and host the Welwyn 10k on Sunday 22 June 2025.

This Sunday (1st December) at 10:30am, Hertford Community Church will be spreading festive cheer with carol singing at the Thieves Lane Car Park in Panshanger Park. We’d love for you to join us!

An exciting discovery has been made at Tarmac’s Panshanger Park by local resident and 13-year-old, Eli Sicklen, during a recent visit. The uncommon and visually striking Wrinkled Peach (Rhodotus Palmatus) mushroom was found and captured beautifully by the young explorer.
