Panshanger Park set for a wilder future
Panshanger Park will become a wilder place with a new community engagement and volunteering programme thanks to a new partnership between Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust and Tarmac.
New car park planned for Panshanger Park
Tarmac is working on a planning application for permission to build an additional car park for Panshanger Park visitors. The proposed new space will be able to facilitate three times the capacity of the current Thieves Lane parking area.

Despite wet weather, the Festival of Wildlife attracted almost 2,000 people to Panshanger Park, near Hertford, to discover and celebrate wildlife.
4.7KM of new paths now open to the public at Panshanger Park
We are delighted to confirm that 4.7km of new paths have opened at Panshanger Park, improving access from the south of the park for all visitors, whether on foot, cycle or horse; and providing routes to the historic Cole Green area. The new paths add to the 18km of paths already open to the public across the park.
Tarmac to open up 4.7km of new paths and the Mimram Valley path

Panshanger Park welcomes new Longhorn calves
Tarmac is delighted to announce the arrival of five longhorn calves at Panshanger Park, the first of 16 expected to be born over the coming weeks.
