Dog walking
Responsible dog walkers are very welcome at Panshanger Park. Dogs must be kept on leads where signs indicate and always around livestock. Dogs must also be kept under close control throughout the park in respect of other park users and wildlife.
Running
You are welcome to run on any of the permissive paths through the park and there are plenty of routes to choose from.
There is also the 5km Panshanger Park run that takes place every Saturday morning from 9am, starting from the old quarry entrance off Panshanger Lane.
Panshanger Park is also host of the annual Welwyn 10k.
Cycling and Horse Riding
Cycling and horse riding are permitted on the designated east-west permissive cycle path - see the park map for permitted route. Please respect other users of these paths at all times.
